AASC is Your Voice in Washington
AASC’s public policy and advocacy efforts are vital to informing our elected officials of the value of the service coordinator profession. AASC members and staff work closely with members of Congress and federal agencies to provide input on legislation and policies affecting the service coordinator profession.
AASC is continuing to work diligently to educate legislators about the importance of service coordination. It is integral that the members of the 111th Congress are informed of the funding needs and the valuable assistance that service coordinators provide to low-income seniors, families and those with disabilities residing in public and federally assisted housing facilities.
