Education

AASC works to keep its member service coordinators educated and offers a wide variety of training and network opportunities to keep members up with current industry standards and practices.  The AASC National Service Coordinator Conference, held every year, brings service coordinators together to network and take part in educational sessions.  The Public Policy & Leadership Forum gathers members together in Washington, D.C. to learn advocacy techniques and to have the opportunity to meet directly with their representatives in Congress.  The Professional Service Coordinator (PSC) Program, in collaboration with The Ohio State University, offers members the chance to partake in online training modules and, after completing a comprehensive exam, the PSC designation.  PSCs are at the forefront of a new generation of service coordinators.
